    Martin Taylor M0LCY and Clansman Radios

    Martin Owns a fair bit of Clansman kit and puts it to good use when his workload allows. I can say that this section on my site gets a lot of hits and interest, hence his talk at Preston ARS, and requests from other clubs for his talk.

    Martin M0LCY operating the Clansman Radio from Jubilee Tower.I worked him on 4 and 6 metres with ease and enjoyed the contact with him and louise M3UBZ. Thank you again for another brilliant photo Martin,and thanks for the contacts, makes doing this worth while.Look forward to some pics from snowdon.Wonderful to hear these bands in use, and great to see Martin making good use of the Clansman.

    Another good example of, Martin M0LCY (or as he was in Wales MW0LCY making good use of his Clansman Radio part way up Snowdon, in not ideal conditions.I was called away at the time Martin activated Snowdon, so never got the chance to try 4m or 6m, i did hear him call on GB3MP but was mobile and unable to get back to him. I say well done Martin, you certainly know what this Amateur Radio is all about, a credit to the hobby if i may say so sir.

    This is another picture from Martin, showing the conditions on Snowdon on his jolly jaunt.The train only went part way up because of the weather, and i reckon it looks a wee bit cold and damp up yon mountain. Thanks for the pictures Martin.

    MARTINS TALK AT PRESTON ARS.

    Above are photos sent to me by Martin of his talk at Preston ARS on 17th of June 2010.Martin was made very welcome by the Preston club and his talk went down very well.I understand that a couple of other Lancashire clubs want Martin to give his talk to them. Congratulations Martin on a job well done, and i will say once again you are a credit to Amateur Radio.
